Create own refresh image in Windows 8

Windows 8 having a feature named Refresh which is used to recover the system.Refresh will not change any of your settings!

Let me tell you How to create own refresh image:
1.Press Windows key+X
You will get a options on left bottom.
Click on Command Prompt (Admin)

or Run the Command Prompt in Admin.
It will look like

2.Now type below command recimg.exe /createimage "Your disk location"

Note: In above code you have to mention the disk location.
Disk should have atleast 20GB free space.
For example:
recimg.exe /createimage "C:\refresh img\21-1-13-21-25-PM"
Press Enter.

3.Now it will start initializing,creating snapshot.
Writing image process will start and it will take more time. so pls be patient.

4.After creation.it will display the message as
Recovery image creation and registration completed successfully.
5.Now exit the command prompt.
That's it refresh image is created by own.

Create new Library in Windows 8

In idea of creating a new Library folder in Windows 8 made me to post this thread!
1.Open Libraries

2.Press Ctrl+F1 it will show some options opened on top!
In that Under Home you can see New item.
When you click on new item it will show Library Click on it.

3.now new library has been created! Name it as you wish

That's it

Now you can also create Library by simply Right click-->New-->Library

Turn off Lock Screen in Windows 8

Here is How to turn off the Lock screen in Windows 8
1.Click on Start & type Group policy
navigate to Settings
You can see Edit Group Policy



Click on it.
2.Its look like this



3.Click on Computer Configuration


4.Navigate to Administrative Templates.


5.Open the Control Panel

6.Click on Personalization

7.You can see a last option as Do not display the lock screen

8.Now check on the Enableled button and click on Apply and press OK to Close.

Disable Windows 8 picture Password using registry

In my last post I posted How to disable picture password using Group Policy.
I got a questions from friends that they cant see the Group Policy Editor.
In Windows 8 pro & enterprise only will gt access to group policy.
Now in this thread am posting How to disable picture password for Non Pro & Enterprise Users.

We are gonna need Registry Editor instead of Group policy!
1.Open RUN by pressing Window key+R and type regedit and press Ok. it will open Registry Editor

2.It will look like

3.Now navigate to below path HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\System

4.Now Right click->new->DWORD(32bit)

5.Rename it as BlockDomainPicturePassword

6.Double click it to open and change the value 0 to 1

Press Ok
7.Now close the registry.
That's it.

Disable Windows Store in Windows 8

Some ppl wont like Windows Store which is a great feature in Windows 8 OS.I think this thread will help ppl like that!
Let me How to disable Store just follow the steps:
1.Click on Start & type Group Policy.
In left side under Settings u can find Edit Group Policy click on it.

or Open RUN(Window key+R) and type gpedit.msc
2.Now under Group Policy navigate to User Configuration

3.Click on Administrative Templates.

4.In Administrative Templates click on Windows Components.
It will open settings under Windows Components.
Now scroll down or Move down and search for Store

5.In right side you can see Turn off the Store application click on it.

6.Now it will open the Turn off the Store application box.
It this check on the Disabled to disable and click on Apply.
Press OK to close.

7.Now open the Store it will display like this

Change signature in Windows Mail app

In Windows 8 we have an app named Windows 8 Mail in this we can synchronize all email service like Gmail, Hotmail etc.

In this the default signature is
Sent from Windows Mail

I planned to change it so I got through some settings in that I came to know this.
Here is How:
1.Open the Windows 8 Mail app

2.Now press Window key+i button together,
It will open Settings page on right side

3.Now click on Accounts.
It will open the all accounts which you are being used. I am using Gmail & Hotmail

4.Select the Gmail account

5.Now scroll down you can a box which is highlighted in below picture
Edit what you want to put as Signature.

6.Close the settings

That's it.
